Enable Inventory Management on Your Items in WooCommerce
The latest version of the Lagersystem WooCommerce/WordPress plugin can always be downloaded from releases.lagersystem.dk/lagersystem-integration.
For your integration from WooCommerce to Lagersystem to work, it is necessary that inventory management is enabled for your items.
Otherwise, Lagersystem has no stock figure for your items and cannot keep track of how many items you have in stock.
Enable inventory management on an item
You enable inventory management by:
- Going to your WordPress menu under "Products" and searching/finding your item
- Clicking into the item to edit it
- Scrolling down to the "Product data" section, going to "Inventory", and checking the "Manage stock?" field:
Enable inventory management on all your items at once
You can edit all your items at once and enable inventory management on all of them.
You do this by selecting all your items at the top of the list, choosing "Edit" from the dropdown menu above the list, and pressing the "Apply" button:
Then you can select the "Manage stock?" field and change it to "Yes" for all items, and press the "Update" button:
Enable inventory management on a product variation
If you use product variations, inventory management is not enabled on the parent product, but on the individual variations:
- Go to your WordPress menu under "Products" and search/find your item
- Click into the item to edit it
- Scroll down to the "Product data" section, go to "Variations", expand your variation and check the "Manage stock?" field:
