Send products via FTP

This article describes how products can be imported using a CSV file via an FTP upload.

Lagersystem can, for example, read the file every hour to update the products based on the content of the CSV file. Naturally, the more often product data is updated, the better informed warehouse staff can be when packing orders.

The frequency for reading the FTP upload can be adjusted to your needs, ranging from every 5 minutes to, for example, a single import once a day.

The file must be in Unicode UTF-8 format, be semicolon-separated ; and must not contain a header row. Quotation marks ” can be used.

You get the FTP login details from your contact person at Lagersystem, and the file must be named ”items.csv”. The file is placed in the ”products” folder on the FTP server.

Below you will find a table with a complete overview of the data fields for the file.
