Wi-Fi problems

If you find that the wireless connection to the handheld terminal is sometimes poor or missing entirely, it is important to check these things first.

  • Check whether Wi-Fi is enabled at all by using your own phone/laptop.
  • If there are no problems on your own phone/laptop, check whether you have several Wi-Fi networks spread across multiple routers. This can cause problems if you are connected to several networks spread across the warehouse, so the handheld terminal has to jump between the various networks.
  • If you have several networks (e.g. Office & Warehouse), you need to go into the Wi-Fi settings on the handheld terminal itself.

Wi-Fi & Internet settings on the handheld terminal

If you start from Lagersystem's main menu, you need to press the small white screen button at the bottom.

This will take you to the Android desktop, where you can see the installed Lagersystem app. To get to the network settings, place your finger on the white button and swipe it up the screen to see the installed apps

Then scroll down to the bottom and you will see the saved networks under Saved Networks. Tap it to see the networks that have been saved on the handheld terminal.

The list of previously connected networks is now shown, including the currently connected network. If there are several networks available that are not needed, tap one of the networks and a window will appear. Here you can remove the network from the handheld terminal by tapping Forget.
