Status Count with Full Location Management
The Status Count page lets you create and follow inventory status counts. This article describes the parts of the page that relate to Full Location Management: when this setting is enabled for your account, stock is tracked per location instead of just per item, and status counts inherit the same location-based behavior.
Open Status Count
- Go to Status Count in the menu, or navigate directly to
/statuscount.
The list of status counts
The list shows all created status counts with the following columns:
- ID
- Title
- Status
- Lines — the number of item lines included in the count
- Created
- Completed
- Transferred
Each row also has a magnifying-glass icon to open the count for editing, and a trash-can icon to delete it. While the result of a count is being transferred to the stock adjustment, the Transferred column shows a spinning icon instead of a date.
Above the list, an Options dropdown/toolbar gives access to:
- Archive — opens the archive of older status counts, which has its own search field and a dropdown for search type (Free-text search, Item number, Title, Description).
- Create — opens the dialog to start a new status count.
Creating a status count
Click Create to open a dialog with:
- Title (required) — a name for the count, e.g. BOSCH August, Annual Status 2018, etc.
- Note — a free-text description.
The status count detail page
If you open a status count (via the magnifying-glass icon), its details are shown:
- Title and Note (editable while the count is still open)
- Status
- Created by
- Lines — number of item lines in the count
- Scans — number of registered scans for the count
- Created, Started, Latest scan, Completed, and Transferred dates
If the count has lines and is still in its original state, the Release status count button is shown, which lets you release it for further editing.
Counting on the handheld terminal
When full location management is enabled, you must scan the item and then scan the location on the handheld terminal to register a count on a status count. This is in contrast to a regular count without location management, where scanning the item is enough — no location needs to be scanned.
