Here's how to create your stock count:

Go to Warehouse and Stock count

Create stock count

Create your stock count by pressing Add New.

Name your stock count

You can name the stock count in Title. You can also write a note for internal use. Here you can, for example, describe who is going to carry out the count, how many scanners are needed, etc.

Name your stock count and add a note if needed.

The stock count has different statuses:

  • Not released: Here the stock count has been created, but not yet released to the scanners.
  • Ready: The stock count is live and can be started in the warehouse with the scanners.
  • In progress: When the first status scan has been performed, the status changes to in progress. The estimated stock figure is subtracted from each item at the first scan.
  • Completed: After you have pressed the finish button, your stock count will be completed. BUT your new stock figures have not been adjusted yet.
  • Transferred: Once you have pressed transfer to stock regulation. Then you can go to Warehouse –> Stock regulation to update your stock figures. Once you have done this, your stock count will move to the Archive folder.

Choose the right type of stock count

You can choose between different count types:

  • Full status: Where all items are counted.
  • Custom status: Where selected items from an Excel spreadsheet are counted.
  • Supplier: Where items from selected suppliers are counted.
  • Location series: Where counting is done on specific location series.

Choose the stock count type that suits you.

Once you have chosen your count type

Once you have chosen your count type, the system pulls an expected stock figure from your accounting system or shop. This figure is changed the first time a specific item is scanned, so that changes to the expected stock figure are accounted for if you have handled orders in the meantime.

Number counted and Differences

When you start scanning, the number counted will be filled in with the item count you specify. The difference figure is therefore the difference between your count and the expected stock. After the count is finished, these differences are moved to Stock regulation, so the stock figure is adjusted.
