During the Stock Count – Using the Handheld Scanner

How do you find your stock count on the handheld scanner?

You will find your stock count inside the Lagersystem app. It is located under Settings –> Stock count.

Select your stock count

Here you select your stock count. If your count is not visible, check that your stock count has the status Ready inside Lagersystem.

How do you scan the items?

Once you have selected your stock count, you can start scanning.

You need to scan the number of items on the shelf. For example, if you have 15 items, you need to scan 15 times.

You decide for yourself whether to scan each barcode 15 times, or whether to type the number into the scanner first (using the keypad) and then just scan the item once.

With the latter method, you can save a lot of time during your stock count, but you also need to make sure you enter the correct number before scanning the item.

Type the number of items into the scanner, or scan the item X number of times.

Cancel a scan

You can always cancel your three most recent scans on the handheld scanner by clicking on the scan and pressing OK to cancel.

Overview of cancelled scans

Once you have cancelled a scan, it will turn red on the screen. This way, you always have an overview of what you have cancelled.

All cancellations turn red – making them easy to spot during scanning.

The handheld scanner always vibrates on error

Your handheld scanner will always vibrate if it cannot read the barcode or cannot find the item in the system. So you can keep scanning as long as the handheld scanner doesn't vibrate.
