Goods Receipt: Receive on the Computer
If you want to receive goods using the hand terminal, follow the guide here instead.
Select a Goods Receipt
To receive a goods receipt on the computer, you must first select it in Lagersystem. You can find the overview of your goods receipts by clicking Goods Receipt in the top menu.
Before you can start processing your goods receipts, they must first be released and have the status Ready for receipt. You can read about releasing goods receipts here.
Select the goods receipt you want to process and click the magnifying glass on the right:
Once you have selected a goods receipt, you can see the lines waiting to be received.
In the example below, there are two lines to be received:
- To receive a specific line, click the small + on the right of the line. In the popup that opens, you can enter the quantity you want to receive on that line.
- You can also click Receive all lines. Clicking this will receive all items on all lines.
Once one or more items have been received on a line, a new button will appear on the line. This button gives you an overview of the transactions that have taken place on that individual line. Here you can also delete, if you have accidentally received an incorrect quantity:
Once you have entered the quantity you want to receive, you can complete the goods receipt.
If you have received exactly the expected quantity, the goods receipt can be completed normally.
If you have only received part of the expected quantity, you can create a partial receipt of the goods receipt. If you create a partial receipt, the goods receipt will remain open for later, when you receive the rest of the order.
Use the Arrow Keys
If you have a large goods receipt with many products, it may be easier to use the arrow keys and keyboard to receive goods on the computer.
First click on a line in the overview. This highlights the line in a dark colour:
You can then use the arrow keys to select a line. Pressing the Enter key opens the popup that allows you to enter the quantity to be received.
Pressing Enter again saves the quantity and closes the popup. This way you can avoid using the mouse when receiving goods on the computer.
Coloured Lines in the Goods Receipt
You will likely notice that some lines in the overview change colour:
The colours each have their own meaning, which can help provide an overview.
- ■ Red: Indicates that more items have been received than were ordered. In the example above, 4 out of 1 unit have been received.
- ■ Yellow: The default colour. Also used if fewer items have been received than were ordered. Can also mean that something has been received that was not ordered.
- ■ White: Indicates that the expected quantity has been received — neither more nor less.
- ■ Green: All items scanned.
- ■ Blue: All items scanned and posted.
Activity Log
The goods receipt contains a log of all events. The User column displays the actor who performed the action. The actor is presented with an icon indicating the type:
| Icon | Type |
|---|---|
| User | |
| Scanner/hand terminal | |
| System automation | |
| API integration | |
| Rules engine | |
| MCP | |
| Guest |
Hovering your mouse over the icon displays the full actor string. Rows created before this feature was added are displayed without an icon.
Scanning Progress
At the top of the goods receipt, a progress indicator is displayed that is continuously updated as you scan. It shows what percentage of the total number of items has been received so far.
