Getting started in 7 simple steps

  1. Turn on your handheld terminal

When you receive your package from Lagersystem, it comes with a handheld terminal and a charging station. You turn on your handheld terminal by pressing the yellow button on the side.

  1. Connect your handheld terminal to Wi-Fi and open the app

To be able to use Lagersystem on the handheld terminal, it must be connected to Wi-Fi. The handheld terminal runs best on a 2.4 gigahertz network connection. Once you have turned on your handheld terminal, press the "menu" button.

Inside the menu, select the "Settings" button.

Inside Settings, select Wi-Fi and enable it. Now select your network and enter your password. You can choose to use the digital keyboard on the display, or use the "S2" button to switch between letters and numbers, so you can use the keys like an old-style phone.

Once you are connected to Wi-Fi, you can return to the home screen by pressing the button shaped like a house.

From here you can open the Lagersystem app on the home screen. You are now ready to handle an order.

  1. Go to order handling

Go to your Lagersystem page and enter your password. Here you can go to the Order handling category. Here you will get an overview of your active orders in your webshop or accounting system.

Lagersystem fetches orders every 5 minutes from your shop or accounting system, but it does not update existing orders. This means that if you have made changes to one or more orders, you must delete them so that they can be reloaded.

  1. Generate and print your shipping label

To generate and print your shipping label, select one or more orders and click the shipping button.

You will then be taken to a page where you can specify the number of packages and the weight of the packages. If you have specified the weight of your products in your webshop or accounting system, it will be filled in automatically. A default weight of 1 kg is set in the system.

You will then get your label displayed on screen, with the option to print it.

Don't have a label printer of your own?

If you don't have a label printer, and you would like one that works well with Lagersystem, we can recommend the Zebra GK420d or our own label printer, which is a good and economical alternative. These are the label printers we use ourselves in the warehouse.

  1. Generate a packing slip/pick list

When you need to create a packing slip for picking, select one or more orders and click the print icon. Here you should select "automatic template".

You will then be taken to the print page, where you can easily print your packing slip.

  1. Pack your first order

Once you have printed your packing slip or label, you can scan one of them. This means your handheld terminal registers which order you are currently handling.

If you have added images of your products, you will get a visualization of the items you need to go and pick.

Once you have found the product in the warehouse, scan the barcode on your item. Once it has been scanned, the item will turn green.

Once you have scanned all the products for the order, the screen will tell you to scan your shipping label.

  1. Complete your order

Once you have packed your products into the package, you can attach the shipping label. Then simply scan your label one last time to complete the order. It will now be handled as agreed in your accounting system or your shop.
