Change location for item

If you want to change the placement of your item, you can easily do so from the handheld terminal. Watch the video here or continue reading below.

Change location for an item

If you want to change the location for one or more items, you must either tap out to the menu bar on the right side or tap the "Tools" button. Here you'll find the "Change location for item" function.

Tap "Change location for item".

Scan your item

Now scan the barcode of the item you want to change the location for. Once you have scanned the barcode, you will see information about the item's current location. If the item does not have a location, the field will be blank.

Assign a location to the item

Once you have scanned your item, you can scan the barcode for the location where you want to place the item. You can give your item multiple placements if you have it on several shelves.

Delete your location

If you want to change a placement you have scanned in, you can tap the location. You will now get a message asking you to confirm that you want to remove the location. Once you have tapped "OK", the location will be removed, and you can then scan in another location or several other locations.
You can also remove a location from an item by scanning the location barcode (again).

Save your location

Once you can see that you have assigned the correct location(s), you can tap "Save" to save your changes. This will then be updated in Lagersystem.
