Lagersystem Label Printer Installation

With the Lagersystem.dk label printer, you can print shipping labels, location labels, and barcode labels for your products. In this article, you will be guided through installing the printer driver on Windows 10 and subsequently loading a file for automatic setup of the printer.

Quick Guide (USB)

  • Connect power – not USB, until the guide asks for it (important)
  • Download and install – download (model: 4BARCODE 4B-2054K)
  • Set the paper type via the printer setup

Detailed Guide

Connect the printer to power, but wait to connect the printer via USB until the installation program asks you to do so. If you have already connected the printer to the USB port, you can simply unplug it from the USB port again.

Installing the Printer Driver on Windows 10

Download the printer driver (4BARCODE 4B-2054K) by following this link.

After you have downloaded the printer driver, it is usually located in the "Downloads" folder on your computer. You need to run the installation file either directly from your browser or from the folder where the file is saved.

After clicking the installation file, the installation program appears. Accept the license agreement and click "Next".

Now you need to choose where the installation program should be extracted to. The default location is your desktop, where the installation program creates a folder named "Seagull". Click "Next".

You now need to choose whether you want to run the driver installation after the files have been extracted to the desktop. Check "Run driver wizard after these are extracted". Uncheck "Read installation instructions" if you wish, and then click "Finish"

An icon will now appear in the taskbar, flashing orange. Click the icon to accept running the installation as Administrator.

The driver installation now starts. Select "Install printer drivers" and click "Next".

Select installation via "USB" and connect the printer to the USB port on the computer. When the installation program finds the printer, the next screen in the installation program appears automatically.

Select "Install a driver for a plug-and-play printer" and click "Next".

Give the printer a name if you wish, or keep the existing printer name. This is the name your printer will have in the print dialog when you need to print shipping labels, etc. Click "Next".

The installation program is now ready to install the driver on your computer. Click "Finish" to complete the installation.

The installation program is now installing the printer driver. This may take a minute or two.

The printer driver is now installed, and you can click "Close" to finish the installation.

Importing Driver Settings

You now need to import the driver setup, which includes, among other things, the correct paper formats for shipping labels, location labels, and barcode labels for products.

Click "Start > Settings":

Then click "Devices":

Click "Printers & scanners" in the menu on the left:

Find the Lagersystem.dk printer, with the name you specified during the installation of the printer. Click the printer to bring up the buttons, and then click "Manage".

Click "Printer properties".

The printer properties appear. Click the "Features" tab and then the "Driver settings" button.

Under driver settings, you need to import a setup file. Below you can choose a setup file. All formats are included in each setup file; the only difference is which print format is set as the default:

After you have downloaded one of the above setups, click the "Import" button.

Find and select the file on your computer with the ".sds" file extension. Select the file and click "Open".

You will now get a message about which settings will be imported. The message may vary from the screenshot below; the important thing is simply that you get a message.

Click "OK"

Click "OK" to return to the printer settings.

Click "OK" to save.

The paper sizes are now loaded into the driver software, and you can start using the printer.

Setting Up Printing via Wi-Fi / Wireless Network

Next, you can optionally configure the printer to connect to Wi-Fi, so that several computers can print to the printer, or so you can place the printer somewhere further away from the computer.
