End Of Day – Report

End Of Day is a report that lets you print a list of the packages you have shipped out during the day. The report is primarily used as a printout at the end of the day, which your carrier can sign when they come to collect the packages.

The report is your documentation of which packages you have shipped from your warehouse, in case something should happen during transport. It is therefore not required, but it is a safeguard that many use.

You will find End Of Day under Reports. Here you need to select the carrier you want to generate the report for. In this case, we have only set up GLS.

Once you are on the End Of Day report, make sure the time interval is correct. Here you need to set a start and end time. You can also select a Cutoff. This is set by default to the booking time that matches the carrier's criteria. But you can also choose to switch it to the "handling time" and the "shipping label scan time" – if you have packages you want to wait to send until you have, for example, handled them and collected the payment.

Once you have entered the correct information, simply press Ctrl + P on Windows and Command + P on Mac. This will bring up a print window on your screen so you can print your End Of Day report and have the carrier sign it.
