Update the Lagersystem app on the handheld terminal

It is always a good idea to keep the Lagersystem app updated on your handheld terminal. This ensures that the handheld terminal works as optimally as possible, and that you have access to the latest features.

To update the software, go into the menu in the Lagersystem app:

In the menu, scroll down to the bottom and select Settings:

Under settings, scroll down to the bottom and press Update software.

After you have pressed Update software, simply follow the next few steps. If you are asked to accept anything during the installation, press yes.

If there is an Update firmware button, it is important that you also use this and update the firmware. Otherwise, this can negatively affect the reliability of barcode scans.

NOTE: If this is the first time you update the app, the handheld terminal may block the installation. If this happens, you need to change the settings in Android to allow installation of unknown apps. The handheld terminal should guide you through this, but if you are unsuccessful, contact us.

Manual installation of the Lagersystem app​

If you have an older version of the software or have problems updating the software from the Lagersystem app, you can update the software manually:

  • Delete the Lagersystem app if you already have one installed.
  • Open the browser on the handheld terminal (Google Chrome) and go to apk.tigercms.dk
  • Install the APK file once the download is complete. The handheld terminal may block installation of the APK file. If this happens, you need to allow installation of unknown apps in the Android settings.
