Scan multiple items with a single scan
It is possible to scan multiple items with a single scan, so the warehouse worker does not need to scan, for example, 100 units of the same item.
Scan multiple items with a known barcode
Load the order onto the handheld scanner by scanning the barcode on the packing slip.
Press the number keys for the desired quantity to be registered, for example for 100 units simply key in 1 0 0.
Then scan the item's barcode.
The item now disappears from the list, as the scan has been registered correctly. If there is no barcode on the item, a different procedure must be followed, as described below.
Scan multiple units of an item without a known barcode
Load the order onto the handheld scanner by scanning the barcode on the packing slip.
Press the number keys for the desired quantity to be registered, for example for 100 units simply key in 1 0 0. Then press the OK button on the scanner.
Then select the item you want to scan on the touchscreen, to specify an alternative barcode.
Then scan any barcode.
The item now disappears from the list, as the scan has been registered correctly. In the log at lagersystem.dk it is recorded that a different barcode was scanned, but it is still the stock count for the original item that is counted down.
