Lagersystem Windows scanner app

Lagersystem's Windows scanner app makes it possible to process your orders from your packing table, so you can cross-check that the items match the order and complete the order from your computer. You can simply connect a scanner to your computer and use the app to access Lagersystem's normal features, just as if you were using a handheld terminal.

Please note that the Windows scanner app can only be used as an add-on for 149 DKK per month. Contact us if you are interested in using the Windows app in your Lagersystem.

How do I install the Lagersystem Windows Scanner app?

First click the link at the top of the article. You will then be directed to a download of the app. You may receive a message that the file is blocked — just click keep.

You may then get a new box asking you to click "See more".

Here you click "Keep anyway".

When you have tried to open the "setup file", a message from Windows about PC protection may appear. Here you should click "More info" and "Run anyway".

Here you click install — the Lagersystem app will then be installed. Once you have approved all the messages about running the app, you will see this window on your screen.

Set up your scanner app for your Lagersystem

The scanner app is not yet set up for your site — you do this by clicking the menu bar on the right side and going into Settings.

Here, at the bottom, select Set up via PIN.

You now need to enter a PIN code. You will find this code on your Lagersystem site under Handheld terminal setup.

Here you can create a PIN code that sets up your app with the Lagersystem site. Once you have entered the code, you will have access to Lagersystem from your scanner app.

You can always check that it is set up correctly inside Settings in the scanner app.

Your scanner app is now ready to be used from the computer. Here you can connect your own USB scanner to the PC and use it for all the features available in Lagersystem.

Change the keyboard language for your USB scanner​

If you experience problems scanning barcodes with your USB scanner, make sure the keyboard language on your USB scanner matches the setting in your Lagersystem app.
