Order handling with multi-pick

Multi-pick makes it easier to handle several orders at once using your picking cart. Handling several orders at the same time increases picking speed significantly, since you only need to go around the warehouse once to pick all the orders you have selected.

By default the setting is 5 orders, but this can be changed under Settings in the Lagersystem app under Number of multi-pick boxes to the number you want to use.

To start a multi-pick, you need to have some orders assigned to your scanner user. You do this by selecting the desired orders in Lagersystem (1). Then select the button on the right with the gears (2) and tap Send to scanner (3). Here you select your scanner user.

On the scanner, go into Assigned at the top of the Lagersystem app. Here you will now be able to see the assigned orders, if you are logged in with the correct user on the handheld terminal. Read more about this here.

Select the orders you want to process. In the next step you can scan the boxes or carts you have set up in your multi-pick settings. If you haven't already set up multi-pick, read this article first.

Step 1: Assigned orders, start with 5

Step 2: Scan boxes

Once the correct number of boxes has been scanned, you can begin picking the items for your orders. The app tells you with a voice which box the item should be placed in, but you can also see it in the corner when you scan an item.

Step 3: Items waiting to be scanned

Step 4: Finish multi-pick

Once you have finished picking all the items, you now drive the cart with the boxes up to the packing table and scan the first box. The scanner will now show the order belonging to the box so you can double-check that the correct items have been picked.

Once an order is packed, a shipping label is attached and scanned to finish.

Finish multi-pick through the menu

If you have several boxes and don't need to/want to double-check that the contents are correct, you can complete the order by going into the menu on the scanner and selecting Complete picked order at the top.

You will now see a Ready to Scan screen. This will skip the double-check, allowing you to process orders much faster.
