Send message to customer

In Lagersystem.dk you have the option to send a message to a customer via email or SMS. This can be used, for example, in case of a delay in the customer's order. You also have the option to send a message to several customers at the same time.

Start by selecting the orders where you want to send a message to the customer, and select the icon with the gears and tap "Send message to customer".

A new screen now opens, where you can decide which messages should be sent. You can always see how many and which orders you are sending messages to at the top of the page.

Before you start writing a message, you need to decide whether it should be sent to the customer via email or SMS.

There are different options for sending the messages depending on whether it happens via email or SMS, which will be described in the following sections.

Send message to the customer via email

When you want to send a message via email, you have the option to use a template. For the template to be usable, it must have the type "Order communication".

You can also choose to write an email instead of using a template. If you want to write the email, you can still use merge keys, which pull fields from the customer's order.

You will find an overview of the merge keys on the page, so you can easily select the merge key you need.

Select the field from the list you want to use, and it will be inserted into the email wherever your cursor is placed.

Once you have written the message you want to send, select "Send Emails".

You will be able to see in the log on the individual order that an email has been sent to the customer.

Send message to the customer via SMS

When you want to send a message via SMS, you have the option to write a message to the customer. When you write an SMS, you have the option to use merge keys, which pull fields from the customer's order.

You will find an overview of the merge keys on the page, so you can easily select the merge key you need.

Select the field from the list you want to use, and it will be inserted into the SMS message wherever your cursor is placed.

Once you have written the message you want to send, select "Send SMS".
