Setup of Multi-order picking
Multi-order picking allows you to handle several orders at once from your picking cart. It enables you to use the handheld terminal for picking and verifying several orders at the same time, so you get fewer picking rounds around the warehouse. This often requires that you have purchased dedicated picking carts or have room for picking boxes on your regular cart.

1. To get started with multi-order picking – you must first:
You need to create users for your handheld scanners, so you can assign orders to different handheld scanners.
You need to enable Autoprint – if you want to generate labels from the handheld scanner.
2. Setup of multi-order picking in Lagersystem
Before you can start using multi-order picking, you need to create barcodes for the boxes you want to use on your picking cart. Usually the warehouse has more boxes than carts, so the boxes can be unloaded at the packing table, allowing the picker to continue around the warehouse with new boxes. You do this under Settings > Multi-order picking setup.
Box administration shows an overview of all your boxes with the columns ID, Status, Name, Barcode, Created, and Last used. The status is shown as a colored icon – green means the box is free, red means it is in use by one or more orders.
On the right side of each row you'll find action icons for printing barcode labels, editing the box, and deleting it. Deletion requires a confirmation. Click on the red status icon to release a box that is in use.
Here you can add boxes by clicking + Add box.

There you need to add a name and barcode for your box.

Once you have filled in all your boxes, you can print them by clicking the barcode icon.

Once you have printed all the barcodes and attached them to your boxes, you are almost ready to start your multi-order picking.
Now you need to mark the positions on the cart's slots, for example with a Dymo label.
2. Setup of multi-order picking on the handheld terminal
Inside the Lagersystem app on the handheld terminal, tap the menu bar on the right side.
Here you select the settings button.
Under settings, you need to select the scanner user who uses this handheld terminal. You also need to set a default value for how many boxes you want to pick with on your cart. If you have several printer stations set up, you can also choose a printer station to which shipping labels are printed.
